Miss Mikayla Rodin, MA

Picture
Mikayla Rodin, MA, is an Associate Therapist with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton. She is dedicated to providing ethically grounded, compassionate care that allows clients to feel supported, understood, and empowered in their growth. Her clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families across schools, outpatient centers, and intensive treatment programs, where she has provided individual, family, and group therapy, developed personalized treatment plans, and collaborated with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

Mikayla specializes in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She has extensive experience supporting clients navigating obsessive-compulsive disorder (including “Pure O” subtypes), body-focused repetitive behaviors, anxiety, and related conditions. In addition to her individual work, she has facilitated specialized OCD groups, guiding clients through exposure-based interventions while fostering peer support and connection. She also has experience in school-based and diversion programs, helping youth address emotional, behavioral, and legal challenges with care and adaptability.

With her background in kinesiology, Mikayla brings a strong appreciation for the mind-body connection into her therapeutic approach. She is passionate about helping clients understand and manage the physical symptoms of anxiety and related disorders, integrating body awareness into treatment to promote both emotional and physical well-being. At the core of her practice is a commitment to meeting clients where they are, tailoring her approach to their unique needs, and creating a safe, supportive space where individuals and families can build resilience, foster self-understanding, and make meaningful changes.
