Dr. Michelle Beakey offers comprehensive and focused assessments for psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological issues. Her testing knowledge has been cultivated by her extensive training experiences and by the treatment and assessment of a variety of psychological disorders.
Our practice provides a safe environment in which to explore individual needs and the relevant questions pertaining to:
· Assessment services for receiving Testing Accommodations for school and standardized testing (e.g. SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT etc.)
· Autism spectrum disorders
· ADHD
· Learning disorders
· Giftedness
· Memory difficulties
· Mood and anxiety disorders
· Personality problems
· Bariatric and Pre-surgical psychological evaluations
Comprehensive testing services are provided to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Each assessment is custom-tailored to the individual’s needs, based on the referral information and as appropriate to the clinical hypothesis. Current symptomatology, psychosocial functioning, previous psychological treatment history, medical history, developmental history, and educational history will be reviewed. At the conclusion of the evaluation, clients and referring clinicians will receive an in-depth explanation of test results, diagnoses, recommendations, and referrals for treatment (when indicated). Here at Belmont Psychological Services, we offer assistance with IEP services and are available to attend school meetings to help advocate for your child’s academic needs.
