While we are not actively recruiting for any positions at this time, Belmont Psych is always on the hunt for therapists who have a proven track record of professionalism, clinical skill, patient retention and patient satisfaction.
Belmont Psych offers employment opportunities for both Licensed and Pre-Licensed Therapists to provide psychotherapy to adults, children, groups and families. While the majority of our clients are currently being treated online, as essential healthcare workers, we expect applicants to be prepared to provide both online and in-person services. Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Individuals who apply for this position must have completed either a Ph.D. or a Psy.D. with an APA accredited doctoral program. unin a field of study that qualifies them for licensure as a psychologist within the state of California. from both
Please know that our practice standards are very high. As such, we carefully screen and review each candidate. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of professionalism, clinical skill and high patient satisfaction. Individuals whose background and training appeasr to be a good fit will be offered an interview. Applicants who profess to be proficient in CBT must be prepared to demonstrate clinical competence via case presentation or role play during the interview process.
Preference will be given to clinicians with experience using at least one of the following: CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, PCIT, Modular Therapy with Children (MATCH) or other CBT skill set that is well-supported in the literature. Therapists with expertise in other clinical orientations are welcome to apply, however, they must be willing to participate in CBT training and supervision that is provided on site by the clinical director.
This is a supportive, fun, friendly and professional environment. Although the practice treats the full range of mental health problems, there is an emphasis on the treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD and disorders of childhood.
*Hours are flexible, but availability on at least two evenings Monday through Friday is preferred. Saturday hours are also available for those who prefer this option.

Qualifications for Pre-licensed Therapists:
-Pre-Licensed Psychologists must have completed their doctoral degree
-Pre-Licensed AMFTs and ASWs must have completed their masters degree
-For Psychological Assistants, completion of an APA accredited doctoral program is preferred but may be less important for those who demonstrate CBT proficiency.
Qualifications for Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists:
-Licensed candidates will be expected to do at least ONE of the following:
(1) Demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of CBT skill using either CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, PCIT, Modular Therapy with Children (MATCH) or other CBT skill set that is well-supported in the literature.
OR
(2) Agree to participate in training and consultation with the clinical director in order to gain proficiency in Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
